In search of the perfect design

Time measurement in its original form, the slowing down of daily life and simplifying whenever possible. Manfred Brassler is constantly driven by this maxim and it also inspired him to design the MeisterSinger single-hand watch.

About his watches, Manfred Brassler says “My goal is to offer time measurement in a clear and pure form. For me, MeisterSinger watches are the perfect measuring instruments. A MeisterSinger watch can be recognized immediately by its typical and minimalistic design and the feeling of complete harmony with one glance at it.”

The self-taught designer with a passion for historic watches became involved in the watch industry in the early 1980s. In the 1990s he founded and developed the brand WatchPeople (designer watches inspired by the underlying ideas of Bauhaus). With the MeisterSinger watches, Brassler fulfilled a personal dream, whose philosophy of slowing down is reflected in all MeisterSinger models.
