2001The one-man-show begins: in fall, MeisterSinger starts with four product lines. Despite the difficult economic situation within the watch industry, MeisterSinger turns out to be an unexpected success.
2002Expansion of the first collection. The single-handed watch and the three-handed watch are now available in the smaller 38 mm case. For the first time, MeisterSinger attends the Baselworld fair and receives great attention.
2003MeisterSinger doubles its sales - repeating this each year until 2005. The exceptional growth represents a major challenge during that time. But this balancing act is in the end successful. With the 1Z Edition featuring an enamel dial and a high-grade decorated Unitas movement (222 pieces), MeisterSinger launches its classic model as a variation for watch connoisseurs, which have more sophisticated requirements.
2004A classic, the MeisterSinger N° 01 (called 1Z back then), receives „Watch of the Year“ award in the Netherlands. After the Basel fair in 2004, MeisterSinger received orders from more than 12 countries. The company is bursting at the seams. A move into more spacious headquarters is necessary.
2005Ranking: Design selects MeisterSinger among the 100 best industry designers or manufacturers, respectively. Consumers vote the classic into second place of the "up to 500€ price category" within the “Goldene Unruh 2005” contest.
| 2006Unomatik is the name of the first watch in which MeisterSinger adds an additional function: the power reserve. Again we have to move into larger spaces. From the 4th floor of an old storehouse in the harbour area of Münster - the “creative pier” - we enjoy a beautiful view over the water.
2007The MeisterSinger N° 03 is awarded the „Good Design Award 2007“ for excellent design by the Chicago Athenaeum. At the Baselworld, MeisterSinger posts record sales yet again.
2008For the first time, the international MeisterSinger team can offer its' customers a sufficiently large booth at Basel . The expansion of the booth leads to record sales again. The boards of two major design-centers award the Monograph for outstanding design. The nomination for the design award of the Federal Republic of Germany subsequently follows.
2009Despite a difficult economic situation for the watch industry, MeisterSinger grows and successfully presents new models. The Singular and the Perigraph of MeisterSinger are both awarded with the red dot award for product design.
20102010 again has been the most successful year in the history of MeisterSinger. The company presented itself on the Basel fair with its new corporate design. An extensive image campaign carried the new design to the public. At the same time, MeisterSinger continued to expand and is now available in Canada, Panama and India as well.
2011 The year started with the most successful Baselworld ever. A new designed stand with a coffehouse feeling was the right atmosphere for successful business and good contacts. The new model NEO had an amazing start at the retailers. Customers loved the retro design of the 1950's. MeisteSinger also celebrates its 10th anniversary. The edition of the 24 hour watch will always remind to the anniversary. |
